Table Limits

Before we begin, we need to
touch on table limits. For proposition bets the minimum is usually the smallest denomination check in use at the table and the maximum is computed based on an arbitrary maximum payoff. For instance, the maximum payoff might be 3 times the posted maximum bet. So on a table with a posted $1000 maximum bet, the maximum payoff would be $3000. Therefore on a bet like the Twelve, which pays 30 to 1, you could bet a maximum of $100. Don't worry about figuring this out - just ask one of the crew how much you can bet.
All casinos should give you a policy and procedure manual that would have your
limits within.

Craps wins = 3x
bet Eleven wins = 7x bet
BEWARE, THE BET
MUST BE HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT ON BOTH SIDES
Let's say the
player bets a $2 C&E, you know you have $1 on each bet, if 2, 3 or 12 roll
on the dice, the player wins $8 minus the $2 bet = $6 and "still up
to win again." (3x $2 bet) If the 'yo 11 rolls, player wins $16
minus the $2 bet = 14 and "still up to win again"(7x $2 bet)
$5 C&E is
$2.50 on each side. If craps win you have 2.50 x 8 = 20 - 5 = 15 or 3 times
the bet. If eleven wins you have 2.50 x 16 = 40 minus the $5 bet = 35 or
7 x the bet (7x5=35)
In addition,
ANY BET SPLIT WITH A 16 FOR 1 PAYOFF USES THE SAME 'KEY' (7X BET)

HIGH / LOW

Let's say the player bets a $20
hi/low. You know he has $10 on each side of the bet, and each side pays x 31. Therefore $310 minus the $20 bet = $290. The
"key" is thinking of a $20 place bet on 5 or 9 that pays $28, then add
a zero (280) then add half the hi/low bet (10)........280 +10 = 290. (and
still "up to win again)

Horn High Bets

Occasionally you'll hear someone bet a Horn High 2 (3, 11, or 12). This means they want the bet divided into 4 non-fractional parts with any remainder added to the number called. So a $5 Horn High 12 would mean: bet $1 each on 2, 3, and 11, and $2 on 12.

Horn bets

Here's
another stupid key
The
low side as we call
it is the 16 for 1
payoff (3 & 11)
The high
side is
considered 31
for 1 (2 & 12)
Low side
= 3 x bet
High side
= 7 x bet less 1/4
Example:
$4 horn
bet - 3 or 11 rolls
4 x 3
= 12 (16- 4 = 12)
________
Example:
$4 horn
bet - 2 or 12 roll
4 x 7
- 1 = 27
4 x 7
= 28, less 1/4
of $4 horn bet ($1) = 27

If your working with 30 for
1 and 15 for 1
Low side = 3 x bet less 1/4
High side = 6 1/2 x bet

Breakage Horn Bets

Some casinos will allow a
breakage prop bet, meaning the player bet an incorrect unit that can't be
paid to the penny.(doller game)
Example: a $5 horn bet
divided by 4 = $1.25 on each number
If the low side hits, = $5 x
3 = $15, the player is safe
however if the high side
hits 1.25 x 31 = 38.75 (-$5 bet) = 33.75
player gets $33 instead of
33.75
Remedy?
Absolutely! That's why I'm here
Low side
payoffs on any horn bet = 3 x bet
Breakage
or not
High side
breakage payoffs 31 for 1
$5
= 33
10
= 67
15
= 101
25
= 168
50
= 337
75
= ???
Stop
right here, any moron that doesn't ask for
a
nickel to make this an $80 horn should be shot!
If your working with 30 for
1 and 15 for 1
Low side = 3 x bet less 1/4
High side = 6 1/2 x bet |
