OK I get it. If I make a DONT COME bet (DC) and the 9 is rolled, the dealer will put my chips behind the 9 and if the shooter throws another 9....I lose?
Shit I don't know? What do you mean "I don't know?" Now listen, if you make a DC bet and the shooter throws a 9 or any number as a point and he throws that number again..... YOUR DEAD MEAT.....YOU LOSE.......GOT IT?
Yea, but if the shooter throws a winner 7 on the "come out roll" my DONT COME bet behind the 9 doesn't win. Or does it? NO, DC BETS ARE OFF ON THE COME OUT ROLL Remember, the DC is just the opposite of a COME BET, and COME BETS are never off on the come out roll
You are so gullible. Listen, the DC wins whenever a 7 is rolled. Winner-7 or 7-out, it doesn't matter.
If the shooter rolls an 8 the player has the option not to move his DONT COME bet. In other words, he can simply tell the dealer "no action DC" and the dealer will leave the bet alone.
If the shooter rolls 4-5-6-8-9-or 10 the player has the option not to move his DONT COME bet. In other words, he can indeed tell the dealer "no action DC" and the dealer will leave the bet alone. This will occur from time to time generally against the 6 and 8. There are two many ways to roll the 6 & 8. The only reason the casino will allow this is because the players DC wager is mathematically favored to win when behind a number.
OK I get it. If I make a DC wager and it goes behind the 4-5-6-8-9 or 10, I'm favored to win because repeating a point before a 7 is really tough.
The DC bet like the DONT PASS is favored to win when a point is established because there are more ways to roll a 7 than any other number.
Now let me see if I have this right. The DC will lose on 7 or 11 on the "come out roll" but once a point is established, the 7 will win.
You can't make a DC (or a COME bet) on the "come out roll"
Alright already, I think I've got it. On a 7-out the PASS LINE loses, the DONT PASS wins, the COME bets on an established point loses and the DC bets behind a number wins but the wager that finds itself setting in the DC box loses and the wager that sits in the COME area before it goes into a point wins. Right?
That mess of a statement is correct. On a 7-out the PASS LINE loses, the DONT PASS wins, the COME bets on an established point loses and the DC bets behind a number wins but the wager that finds itself setting in the DC box loses and the wager that sits in the COME area before it goes into a point wins. This damm game drives me crazy! NEXT STUPID ASS QUESTION PLEASE
When I watch a craps game in a casino most people are betting on the PASS LINE and not too many players wager on the DONT?
Most people do indeed bet on the PASS LINE more than the DONT only because the PASS LINE players on a craps table are gambling in a community with other players that have the same interest in the outcome. This attributes to all the yelling, screaming and excitement you find on the game. The DONT player bets against this 'community' and peer pressure alone accounts for one of the reasons most play the PASS LINE. The other being that the rules of the PASS LINE are generally explained first and that betting on the DONT is sometimes suggested that you are betting against the shooter, thus alienating yourself from all the excitement.
When betting on the DONT side of the game you are betting against the shooter.
One of the misconceptions of playing on the DONT side of the game is that you are betting against the shooter when in fact your wager is simply betting that the dice will not repeat a point. It has nothing to do with the shooter. The dice don't play favorites. They don't care who or what propels them to the other side of the table.
