Question 11 Can any player bet the PASS LINE and the DONT PASS?
WAY! Yes you can bet both the PASS LINE and THE DONT PASS. A stupid proposition for the player but you will see this type of play where they play the "free odds game" Please try again to proceed. Can any player bet the PASS LINE and the DONT PASS?
Basically the DONT player is favored to win more often than the PASS LINE player?
The difference is minuscule 1.41% to 1.40% between the PASS and DONT PASS Surely the DONT PASS bet wins more often after the point is established simply because the 7 has more faces than any other number, but the "come out roll" 7-11 loses is the killer. The dice chart shows for the DONT player, that there are only three ways to win (2-3) on the "come out roll" and there are eight ways to lose (7-11) TRY AGAIN Basically
The point is 6 for example. The PASS LINE players are prohibited from taking their bets off the table and the DONT PASS players are allowed to do so? Even if the PASS LINE player has to go to the bathroom, they can't take or call their bet "off "?
The DONT player is favored to win after the point is established thereby the player may take their bet down at any time (with no returning option after the dice roll) They may never call their bets "off" The PASS LINE player's bet after the point is established is "held in escrow." The bet may not be taken down or called "off" until there is a winning or losing decision. In other words, once the bet is made on the PASS LINE it's locked in after you have a point. The casino has the edge because there are more 7's in a pair of dice.
A COME bet is just like the PASS LINE after a point has been established, ya know, same rules and all. When I make a COME bet 7-11 win and 2-3-12 lose on the next roll of the dice. If I roll 4-5-6-8-9-or 10 that becomes my COME point and it must repeat before a 7 to win.
Yes it is true. By making a COME bet you are playing by the exact same rules that the PASS LINE offers. First roll 7-11 win and 2-3-12 lose. any other number rolled becomes your "COME point" and that point must repeat before a 7 in order to win. Think of a COME bet as starting a new game after the main game is in progress. Great now take me to the next stupid question
Unlike a PASS LINE bet a COME bet can be called off at any time.
Nope, a COME plays by the same rules as the PASS LINE bet. You may not call the bet "off" for any reason at any time. After the point is established, the COME bet is "held in escrow." The bet may not be taken down or called "off" until there is a winning or losing decision. In other words, once the bet is made it's "locked-in" after you have a point. The casino has the edge because there are more 7's in a pair of dice. Swell, take me to the next stupid question
Can I "press" my COME bet after it travels to a point?
Actually, yes you can "press" (increase) your COME bet. It is not the smartest thing to do but it is allowed only because the casino has the advantage over the player once a COME point has been established. Whatever, please take me to the next stupid question
OK, if I'm not allowed to call my COME bet "off" can I at least decrease it's value. In other words, If I have a $10 COME bet can I take away $5?
No Sam I Am, you are not allowed to decrease the COME bet (or the PASS LINE) in any way. You may increase the bet(s) but you may never decrease it.
If you do not have a PASS LINE bet, you are not allowed to make a COME bet.
False. You can indeed make a COME bet without a PASS LINE bet.
Let's see if I got this right. I can make a COME bet after the main point has been established. The main point is where that hockey puck looking thing is. The COME bet is exactly like a PASS LINE bet with the same win/lose rules. I can increase the bet but I'm not allowed to decrease or call the COME bet off at any time before a decision. In fact the COME bet is like playing another game within a game so to speak.
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ALMOST CORRECT
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT You can make a COME bet after the main point has been established. The main point is where that hockey puck looking thing is. The COME bet is exactly like a PASS LINE bet with the same win/lose rules. You can increase the bet but your not allowed to decrease or call the COME bet off at any time before a decision. In fact the COME bet is like playing another game within a game so to speak.
The DONT COME (DC) is a very confusing bet. Apparently I can make this wager only if I'm playing on the DONT PASS and it follows the exact same win/lose rules of the DONT PASS.
Any player can make a DONT COME (DC) wager at any time. One does not have to play the DONT PASS in order to wager here. Take me to the next set of stupid questions
